About Us

Joshua Horn, PhD

Josh is a former biophysicist with passions for loose leaf tea, modernist poetry, and hot sauces made from the world’s hottest peppers. He is known to his friends and family simply by Josh, yet inexplicably signs his emails with the full Joshua. Growing up his favorite reading topics were unidentified flying objects, cryptozoology, dystopian fiction, and anything from the Star Wars Expanded Universe.

Heather Horn

Heather has an educational and work background in Psychology, Child Development and Early Childhood Education. She currently spends her time homeschooling her three kids. She loves reading, writing, gardening and hiking. Her perfect afternoon would be journaling near a waterfall. She is able to find four-leaf clovers with incredible frequency, but the Avengers have yet to request her services.

Our Team

Josh and Heather have three forever children through biology and adoption. Each of the kids has created their own superhero identity (which of course we cannot share) and they write their own comic book series together. They love being outside, camping, Legos, and being loud!
